The new organization "Debigonj Student Society of Dhaka" has officially started its journey with the aim of uniting the students of Debiganj upazila of Panchgarh studying in the capital Dhaka.
As first initiative of the organization, a tree planting program was held at Debiganj College on Sunday. The students of HSC batch 2014-24 were present in the tree plantation program.
The aim of the organization is not only social development, but also to build good relations among the students of Debiganj upazila living in Dhaka. It is said by the organization, "We hope, this initiative will deepen the relationship between us and increase sympathy and cooperation towards each other."
The organization further says, “We believe that empathy and cooperation towards each other is essential to bring change in society.'Debiganj Student Society of Dhaka' is committed to work with the students to build a better society."
Students want to share their experiences and problems through regular meetings and social activities with participation of all. Also interested in doing developmental work through social activities in Debiganj upazila.
Through this new organization, the students hope to increase their communication and want to give a hand to each other in times of danger. As part of its long term plan, the organization intends to undertake various social service and developmental projects.
Through this initiative, the students of Debiganj upazila hope that a strong network will be developed among them in Dhaka which will be helpful for their mutual support and social development.
